The St. John Bosco orphanage for boys in Plaisance, Guyana is home to more than forty boys ages four to sixteen and is run by the Sisters of Mercy. Grandma Winnie used to teach at their school, so we went for a visit to meet with the sisters and the boys. They were very sweet and eager to impress, whether it be by answering questions, reading, singing, dancing, or doing handstands. Here are a few photos from our visit.
